Absolutely love this salon! Been getting my hair cut and colored for years, always an awesome job! Great atmosphere, very staff, the girls go above and beyond for ya. Highly recommend this salon for the whole family! !!

Pretty much i gave my money away! I will never go to this place they have no idea what they are doing, I hate giving bad reviews but this one was the worse place I ever been, a hair salon should at least know how to blow dry hair, not even that! The lady that fix my mothers hair said she had 40 years of experience, not sure what kind of experience, I literally had to come home and wash my moms hair. I originally went to "Hair it is"to fix my hair and my moms as well to go to a wedding, nothing fancy just blow dry straighten it and a couple of curls, the hairstylist asked to do my moms hair first, and when I saw how she did my moms hair, i pretty much told the lady there was no way she could fix mine, she wasn't happy.

Just walked in to get a hair cut and I was told to leave and come back later because they were to busy. Meanwhile there was nobody waiting in the lobby. I have no idea why I keep coming here, it's one bad experience after another.

I went to Hair It Is Salon today looking for a shorter style. I style I found was similar to Charlese Theron and I had plenty of hair to accommodate the style. The stylist had to keep referring back to the picture before cutting and didn't seem to know what she was doing but I gave her a chance. Little did I know that she was cutting deep sharp layers into the top which was supposed to stay long and left the back near my neck line with no layer or thinning. She then styled it so I had a hair style to the liking of Justin Beiber. When I got home I tried to straighten it in hopes I could do something with it. Turns out the layers are so scattered and choppy NOTHING can be done except to wear a hat until it grows out. I returned to the salon and spoke with Carol, owner, who offered to cut my already short hair some more and/or show me how to style it. I could not allow her to cut more of what little hair I had left and I knew no amount of styling could improve it as I had already spent the past 6 hours washing, blow drying and straightening with NO improvement. All I wanted at this point was my lousy $27 back which was not a lot to ask considering I will spend the next 6 months looking liked a 12 year old boy with a horrible hair cut. Carol could not refund my money and that was wrong because, even though she wouldn't admit it, she knew HER stylist royally screwed up. As a business owner you need to own mistakes and fix them, she felt it more necessary to try and cover it up. She knew it couldn't be fixed or styled without taking more of my hair but she wouldn't own it, she was more concerned about keeping my lousy $27 which I don't feel she should have kept because I most definitely did NOT get what I paid for. In fact what I got for my $27 was the embarrassment and humiliation of a boy cut on a 40 year old woman which NO ONE can fix!
