The Concept Salon is the best! I have my cut, color and keratin done by Dana and I am always happy with my hair. Their keratin treatment is reasonably priced and lasts at least 3 months. Color has natural ingredients so it doesn't burn or have that awful smell. I find it easy to make and change appointments. I also like that they have a customer loyalty points program.

The Concept Salon means it when they say " no up charge". A blow out for my type of hair usually cost me between $40-50 but not here,only $25.00! I have extremely thick, very curly hair, and this was by far the best blow out I have ever received. The treatment that was used made my hair soft and shiny. Also the girls in the salon were so nice and welcoming. I will definitely be going back for a routine treatment and blow out.

*** I have been here a few times because listen mistakes happen but every time Iâ€™ve had a horrible experience. Iâ€™ll start with this I have to say the owner Nina is really rude to the clients she had checked me out once and was giving me dirty looks when I was asking about products like she made me feel like she was belittling me! Who gives their clients dirty looks?? Do you not want business?? Than More than half of the time she looks like she rolls out of bed thatâ€™s if sheâ€™s even there, there is no actual flow in the salon, the owner Nina is rarely in. But other than a horrendous owner thereâ€™s more, I came for color once because I started seeing some greys and I wanted a change and it was horrible I think it was Danna (something starting with the letter D, I didnâ€™t care much for her name after the horrible job) who did my hair I asked for my hair to be a light brown and she made it really dark black my hair was originally a coppery red! So upsetting how does that even happen?! Than i see on their Instagram they post about classes but I guess she and the staff never learned anything! I even had pictures of exactly what I wanted and she seemed so confident but the end result was horrible I was embarrassed walking out so I ended up having to go to another salon down the street for a color correction, It just was atrocious and I spent so much in one day! This place is so over priced I paid $100+ JUST for the color which was ridiculous by the way that was with my â€œdiscountâ€ best past was the color they use is horrible itâ€™s Avada it didnâ€™t even cover my grays and my scalp was burning!!! I would never recommend this salon to anyone!!! more than half of the girls donâ€™t know what theyâ€™re doing! I went there after words for a blowout two different times so i donâ€™t remember the names but one was on the right side of the salon her spot was in the second chair and the other girl who was on the left side I believe the third seat down she was the only African American there and didnâ€™t even know how to do my hair and Iâ€™m African American myself, I just couldnâ€™t believe what a horrible job they did! Also just a tip so apparently you canâ€™t request someone which I have never heard of so they put you where ever they can fit you which means theyâ€™re just accommodating themselves rather than us, but anyway if I did find someone I liked (which I wonâ€™t since I will never return again since all three experiences were horrible) I couldnâ€™t even use her, so for that it makes me think the owner cares more about making money than she does about her stylists work! I also have noticed that she makes the employees stop doing there clients in the middle of their service just to check people out because thereâ€™s no manager, thereâ€™s no receptionist, and the owner is rarely in and like I said if she is she looks like a mess or is doing her makeup while at the desk and that is beyond unprofessional shouldnâ€™t a business owner want to look presentable? I even once over heard a girl I believe her name was Collen say to a client that the salon has electrical issues because the plugs keep sparking! She even said she doesnâ€™t get any breaks! Iâ€™m just so upset with this salon because I saw all of these good reviews so I said letâ€™s do it but unfortunately I had a horrendous experience on multiple occasions. So anyone who wants to try this place out please save yourself the money and go to a professional salon because this place is far from professional. I mean what kind of place makes their employees stop a client to check someone out, and what kind of owner gives their guest dirty looks, thatâ€™s so unorganized they either need to sell the business to someone who cares about the business or shut down completely. This place is a zoo.
