I must say it was a pleasure to sit in a salon where the staff looks and acts as professional as the clients they are providing services to. My time is never wasted or taken for granted as has been the case in may other shop I have gone to. Thank you ladies for representing you industry is such and awesome way.

I went in for a trim and got a year's worth of growth cut from my head. It was more uneven then before I got it cut. My hair was blown out and combed upwards. At this point it was cut, not trimmed as requested. The major problem is that the hair on the sides is 3 to 4 times longer than the hair on top. This was masked at the shop with an elaborate gelling process. The sides were slicked down while the top was teased up. Once I washed it, the wreckage was apparent. Subsequent messages left to the shop went unreturned.

I’m really sad to even write this because I had high hopes. The stylist who did my hair knotted, heat damaged and broke off my hair. I will have to cut my hair off for health purposes, I’m so heartbroken. I went almost a month ago and it was the worst decision to make. I am always weary of natural salons, I was recommended by a customer of theirs with great hair, it simply wasn’t meant for me. Very disappointed and really disgusted at the situation. I also want to mention I am against heat but was much forced into it because I went for a cut. The stylist used a hot hand dryer with a BRUSH, without detangling. I had to tell her about knots. Very shocked. I also wanted twists, but she decided to tell me she would have to charge me more. That was upsetting. The thought alone angers me. She should have said that from the get go because I didn’t even tell her to use heat and stand over me for nearly 50 minutes in the first place, and then they wanted to wash me after straightening, it was horrible. Just very sad. I wish I could get my money back, more than anything for the result. I did get a missed follow up call that I missed, so I can say at least they care to be in touch, but I never called them back as I was too angry about it all.. be cautious.

Today was my first time being serviced at the shop. Atmosphere is chic with a nice vibe, great location, and the staff are all friendly. Most importantly, BEST hair washing EVER! Also, I had changed my mind on what I was having done to my hair, and Danielle was patient, she presented some other style options. I am hoping to make this my new salon.
