It's a Fabulous Salon. The owner Mercedes is a doll and very talented, she and Virginia is an Amazing hairdressers.

Sadly disappointed. Iâ€™d gone to this salon a few times when Virginia had worked there and had never left disappointed. Called for appointment and learned she no longer worked there so gave it a go with Mercedes (the salon manager/owner). Asked for a 1 inch haircut at most, a color to match my ends to my natural color so I wouldnâ€™t need coloring again and Conditioning hair treatment. Mercedes was super friendly and I put my trust in her suggestions and expertise. Sadly left very very disappointed and had to go to another salon to correct the issues. To begin with, the color she chose is basically black (my natural color is dark chestnut brown and the intent was for her to match it). She told me it would fade and match the top half of my hair after a couple of washes. I washed it 5 Times â€”â€” it didnâ€™t. The cut, was the most disappointing part....at least 3-4 inches were chopped off. It took me a long time to grow out my hair so I was very very disappointed that even after very specific request to cut no more than an inch it was ignored. Also, the cut was the worst cut Iâ€™ve recieved in my adult life. Uneven and choppy. When i went to the second salon to correct these issues they were baffled at how poorly my hair had been cut by a â€œprofessionalâ€. All in, the only silver lining is that after losing a few inches and doing the Brazilian split end treatment my hair is indeed healthier. I guess anyone who chops off a few inches has healthier hair.... Sadly I wonâ€™t be going back and I can not recommend this place. Went to Hair Loft on Main Street in Metuchen after for the corrections and they were amazing.

I went for the first time to get a hair cut here. Im always worried about going somewhere for the first time but it was awesome. I love the hair cut, got a treatment as well, it feels so good. I will return. Staff was really nice and not pushy at all to sell me something else. I was comfortable and felt welcomed into this salon. Give it a try. ðŸ˜€
