Zach duplicated exactly what I wanted and did such a great job!! He is just excellent with color selection/balayage and did such a perfect job cutting my hair so that it better shaped my face. The staff are extremely personable, genuinely caring and friendly, so this was a very different experience than many salons I have been in around the world. Iâ€™m very discerning, I travel a lot so it is a challenge to find a great place with great and very real and kind people. I now know I need to book another trip to Princeton in a couple of months to get my hair done with Zach again. Thanks to Godfrey and Zach for making this a great experience.

First, I booked an appointment for a simple hair color and the salon cancelled my appointment at 10pm the night before. Then, I was told I could come back for a complimentary service a week later. So, I went back and they were trying to charge me $500 to do a service I didnâ€™t even want. When I asked for just the color, he refused to do my hair at all and would only do it if I paid for the complete color correction which I didnâ€™t even want! On top of it, he was extremely rude and didnâ€™t care what I wanted at all. Donâ€™t go here! All they want is your money and donâ€™t care about your time!

Godfrey gave me my first haircut in over ten years. I came in with hair past my shoulders, and no idea what I wanted my look to be. He managed to take my vague, indecisive thoughts and turn them into what exactly what I wanted. Nice guy, and great salon!

Such a lovely experience! Loved my cut and the extra attention during shampooing. Convenient online booking and the location is right next to the Spring Street parking garage in the middle of downtown Princeton.

Godfrey is the best salon in Princeton hands down! The hair cut and treatment I received was the quality of a top New York or Paris salon and the experience was the most enjoyable and pleasant I have had. Although he routinely works with celebrities, he treats each and every person with the same respect, care and level of service. The personalized attention and skill of Godfrey himself and his associates is unparalleled! If you want a haircut, style, or treatment from one of the pro's in the industry, you need to come to Godfrey Fitzgerald. He (they) are simply the best.
