The majority of haircuts I've received at Cosmo Bleu (by junior level stylists) have been average or mediocre. Despite this, the stylists have always been warm and friendly, so I keep going back. My last visit, however, was probably my last. I've been trying to grow my hair and went in for a trim/minor cut. I showed my stylist photographs of longer hair styles. Instead, I came out with a rounded short bob and lots of layers, which is very unflattering for my face shape. I was disappointed - as it was opposite from the photos I showed my stylist, Olivia - but I tried to give it a go. After weeks of styling it and feeling consistently displeased, I went back to discuss options. My stylist was very friendly and tried to offer solutions. Unfortunately, those solutions were 1) cut my hair even shorter or 2) just wait for it to grow out. While I appreciate the offer of a free haircut, I don't feel comfortable accepting. It seems as though she can only give me one haircut - and it's one I've never wanted. PS: While discussing options, a group of stylists formed around me and listened in, making me feel very uncomfortable. It might've been nice for a manager to step in at that point.
