Don't go here to get your nose pierced. I had my nose pierced here twice, and neither of the events had very good results. The first time I went, the bar was too short and fell out the day after I had it pierced. The second time I had it done, the technician wasn't very professional. I wasn't given any instruction other than to sit down. After cleaning my nose and the needle with listerine (don't know if that's standard practice or not), my nose was pierced. Unfortunately, I pulled away a bit. I didn't realize that I had pulled away - it's hard to keep your head steady without focusing on it when someone's putting a needle through your face, and I hadn't received any instructions from the piercing technician. I started bleeding. It was then that I realized that the technician wasn't wearing gloves. I apologized multiple times, but the guy was silent. He wound up piercing it a second time and placed an s-curved piece of jewelry in.
Three days into the healing process, I noticed that there was an indentation in my nose where the jewel sits. I looked online and got a second opinion from a piercing/tattoo shop in a big city nearby. They told me that Artistic Impressions shouldn't have even thought about starting me out with an s-shaped piece of jewelry.
When I called and asked for a refund, he said that he would only put a longer bar in (I didn't bother to ask if he would charge for that, he was already pretty heated about the refund). I don't know how getting a longer piece from him would be possible - when I went in he only had two kinds of jewelry: very short and small studs and the s-shaped piece he gave me. He very blatantly told me that they wouldn't give me a refund, so I thanked him and hung up.
The refund is no big deal; nor is it the problem here. The customer service and quality of the job are the problems.
Long story short, do yourself a favor and go to a real piercing place to get a nostril piercing. This place isn't worth the time, money, or frustration for nose piercings.
