Decided to take a drive and ended up at Great Clips in Monroe today. I checked in online and arrived 13 minutes early. The Stylist called me within about 2 minutes of waiting and after describing to her how I wanted my hair done she started on it. She took her time and got it done. It turned out much better than I had anticipated. She was very nice, had a nice conversation, and she stay professional the whole time. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. I'll definitely come back here to have Lupe cut my hair. I highly recommend her!

Went in for a haircut last week, only needed to cut off about 2 inches straight across, no layers or anything fancy. The stylist did my haircut in about 3 minutes, and briefly showed me it from the back. After getting home I realized she cut the right side of my hair about an inch shorter than the left side of my hair..... a highly noticeable difference. My sister could've done a better job with craft scissors, and for free.

Never coming here again. They completely destroyed my hair with their haircut and didn't listen to me at all. I asked for 3 inches off and they cut 6. I asked for a "U" shape in the back and they made it boxy. I asked for a slight angle in the front and they cut it like it was layers. Worse haircut ever and even made me cry as they tried to "fix" it and offered to take $2 off. Last time I am ever going here and I wish I decided to not go here in the first place after last 2 times I got a new person who had to be saved by another stylist. They never have the same workers for more than a month. Don't make my mistake.

I have been to this salon 3 times. I do not like or need a lot of "fluff' so this place was great until this day. I walked in, 3 people on duty, 1 person ahead of me. Young girl leaves her post, comes and greets me at the desk. She asks me if I have been here before, takes and finds my name in the computer (this will be relevant later). She asks me what I would like done. This is 2:45 PM. She tells me it will be about 15 minutes. OK, no problem. 40 minutes later, the same girl is finishing with her customer and I see even one other girl is also almost done as well. The young girl is ringing her customer out and I know I am next so all is good. I hear her say to that gentlemen as he pulls out his wallet, "they did tell you we are only taking cash, right cause our COMPUTER IS DOWN?". I am thinking, what, I don't have cash AND you were able to find me IN THE COMPUTER and everyone else that came in, but this young girl did not mention this to me when she greeted me, checked me in, asked me what I wanted done - WHAT??!!! So I let her complete the transaction and I approach asking "did I hear you just say you are only accepting CASH??!" Yes she says. So I proceed to say, 'Don't you think that would have been pertinent information to express to me and the 3 people that have come in behind me when you checked us in prior to us all sitting here for the past 30,40, 50 minutes?' She said 'well we hung a sign on the door'. Are you joking me??!! Did she really just say that -- some little 4X6 white paper sign written in black ball point pen ink, among all the other crap that one sees on windows and doors of stores that NO ONE STOPS AND READS BEFORE ENTERING A BUILDING. She spoke to me, greeted me, took my name, can lie to me and tell me it will be only 20 minutes when really it's 40 but can't mention 'WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING CASH TODAY because the computer I am checking you in on is not working!!??' Who's pocket did that day's charges go into - a 3 way split!! Guess what - WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! Way too many businesses that want my money - Cash, Credit or Charge! Signed, GOT MY HAIR DID ELSEWHERE TODAY AND BEYOND!
