Love this place. My hair always looks amazing! Their staff is super friendly and always pleasant. They truly are the best !

I have only been to a professional hairdresser three times in my life because my mom has always cut my hair and the few time I have colored it I have used a semi permanent hair dye. Recently I tried to fix my roots and I used a box dye that made my hair a VERY COPPER blonde. I didn't like how golden it was so I made an appointment at Marcucc to get it toned/ colored to a light ash brown. They seemed to understand this however when my hair was washed the hair stylist had dyed my hair black. This may sound dramatic but I have never felt uglier in my entire life. I went back crying ( I know so embarrassing) and told them I didn't like how dark it was and they were really nice and said they would fix it. They basically used products that would get as much dye out as possible. It looked better then it did before but WOW it is so bad. My roots are a bright red/ purple color and my hairline is orange (can't wear my hair in a bun) and it gets lighter as it goes down. They kept telling me it was a pretty color, which i guess it was, however light pink is a pretty color too and that doesn't mean I want light pink hair! The color I wanted could not be further from what I asked for. I am going to be a freshmen in college in less than a week and I was so excited but now I am a stressed mess because all I can think about is how I can fix my hair. I tear up every time I look in a mirror because it looks so bad. One of my friends started historically laughing when she saw me. I paid $70 dollars to have my hair look terrible and to basically wait until it washes out. On top of thatI'm sure I'll be left with hair that's even more copper than what I started with. Amazing. I'm going to the beach tomorrow so hopefully the sun makes it lighter and then I'm going to spend any free time i have shampooing like theres no tomorrow. I had really high hopes and I love supporting local Malverne businesses but this is honestly a nightmare.
