I went to Joseph Zell Salon to see Katie Jackson for waxing services. The salon is very clean and upscale. The receptionist greeted me warmly and professionally. Katie is a pro at what she does. I was very happy with the services i received and will be a repeat costumer of hers.

Katie is the only one I let wax me! Her technique is excellent and she makes it as painless as possible. She is very thorough and never leaves hair behind. The facility is always so clean and professional. I highly recommend Katie!

You may speculate as to why a woman would take six hours out of her day to obtain a fresh color, highlights and a cut. Two hours to drive to Wilmington, two to get my hair done and two to drive back home. Please allow me to reveal the answer to this question. Hairstylist have a great deal of authority and power. They can literally make or break your individuality by ruining your hair. So when you find quite literally a pioneering hairstylist for the stars from New York City only two hours away, you simply go and consider yourself blessed to have found this person. Our hair doesn’t make us the person we are inside but it can make a substantial difference in our self-esteem. When I walk into Joseph Zell and Company’s beautiful Salon I am immediately greeted by an exquisite and delightful woman named Eve. Eve along with all the staff has the ability to make you feel like you are the only person in the world that matters right then. Greeted like a dear friend and offered a beverage while you wait just minutes, if you arrive early, as your appointment time is when you are seen. No long waits or excuses ever at this salon! Then greeted equally warmly by Joseph I am now in the chair and become the center of attention. Joseph always makes sure that he understands what my expectations are for this particular visit. Eve has already acquired this information when I call to schedule my appointment because she wants to ensure the amount of time essential to cover my needs is scheduled at that time. Eve is an expert at making everything seem effortless. Still, Joseph authenticates my wishes and then begins to go to work. Joseph is a professional that has the expertise which is to take someone like me, with very dark hair peppered with gray, and then turn my hair into a striking blonde color. My hair looks completely natural, my cut stunning and my experience relaxing. As I have been going for many years to Joseph Zell and Company, making the trip in anticipation of having a marvelous time, being spoiled and leaving thrilled with my new do, as you can imagine, I consider them my friends. On days off when I have left a message to make an appointment, Eve, has actually driven back to the Salon to check the appointment book in order to respond to my call. Yes, this is exceeding anyone’s normal expectation of even the most superior Salon but it is the norm at Joseph Zell and Company. If your tired of excuses for long waits, blonde color that turns red or looks artificial, bad hair cuts or any of the horrible things most women have experienced even once, I highly recommend you schedule your next appointment with Joseph Zell and Company. If you can’t get in with Joseph, Kenleigh may be available. She is a humble, kind, passionate, extremely well educated and certified professional in various hair colors. She has worked over a decade with the Zell’s and would be happy to meet your needs. Meeting each of them has been a blessing in my life and not just because of the amazing talent that resides there. Also if you happen to be one of those women who enjoy a nice shampoo and head massage there is a delightful young man who works along-side of Joseph who is your guy!

Wouldn't go anywhere else. They are great at coloring, styling, facials make up. I have lots of cow licks and my hair always comes out laying perfect. You won't be sorry.

I'm very particular about the look of my eyebrow wax and tint and so happy to have Katie as my go to girl and know I will always leave with amazing services! She knows her stuff and wouldn't go to just anyone ever again!
