Hair botched. Went in for my big chop and came out like a boy. My hair was so uneven! The back was long than the top of my head and though it has grown out the top continues to be the shortest. Had to go to a barber. Never again

I've been coming here since 2003 and I've enjoyed the services provided here. The owner is knowledgeable and takes time to educate me about what I can do the maintain proper care of my locs. At times I have had my hair done by other staff as well. They offer consultation prior to starting locs as well.

I am so pleased with services I receive from the owner and her staff. I love everything about the products utilized on my hair. My locs were started five months ago here and I am absolutely in love with them! I am a routine customer and so is my mother. We are so glad to have finally found a salon that takes â€œrealâ€ care of our hair. I adore the owner she is highly educated, professional, and great at what she does. A chain of events because I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. First, I schedule a consult and I literally wait 1hr 30 min because she forgot. Second, same lady, braids my hair, not in the style I want and pulls my edges out. (She was fired after that). Third, the owner is great but was late because she was talking to someone she randomly met. She cut all the perm out that day and because She was running so far behind with clients waiting, I still had permed hair left on the tips of the twist and she forgot to do a treatment on me. I came home and cut it myself and took the twist out. No more for me but I do believe the owner is very knowledgeable about hair. Just not very prompt.
