Let me start off by saying that Olivia (the Estee Lauder lady) and Gina (makeup artist) both get 10 stars from me. Both of these ladies go above and beyond in customer service and more than compensate for the less than stellar girls running the cash registers. They take their time to make sure that you LOVE what you're purchasing, show you how to do it, and are HONEST about what won't work for you, or your skin. I go to this Ulta like once a week, and i usually feel like someone is trying to "sell" me something and get me out the door quickly. Not Olivia and Gina. Go see them, they are AMAZING!!

I've been to this Ulta three times lately in the past couple of months. Normally, the sales associates are friendly and helpful. Today, when I was walking out to leave, one older female associate with black hair(who was working in the makeup department) blocked my way and asked if I had found any nice fragrances. I said yes, and smiled and said I tested several that smelled nice, thank you. She continued to stare at me without saying a word, expressionless, and blocking my way. I had to explain to her that I did not plan on purchasing anything. I'm not sure what her issue was, but Ulta please train your associates better than this. What she did was rude and uncalled for and made me feel like I was doing something wrong when I was just trying to test out fragrances.

Be careful if you use the salon.. lots of hidden charges you won't be expecting! For PARTIAL highlights and a trim my bill was $193! I've gone to some top salons in Charlotte for way less than that. You live and learn, and I won't be back!

I love Ulta and the salon here is great too. I started going here for blow outs but now I have Megan doing my color and cut too. I've had many good experiences. I also like the coupons and convenience of this shop over going to Sephora in the mall and always paying full price.
