What a shame! Iâ€™ve been coming here for years and the service has been declining over time. Today I went in for a wax and the sheet was filthy. I asked for it to be changed, only to be told that they donâ€™t change sheets in between customers for waxes. I replied that it would be a good idea to do that when the sheet is soiled. Lauren rolled her eyes and told me that is just not possible, while ironically pulling off the dirty sheet. I told her that I would go someplace else that had higher cleanliness standards. I wonâ€™t be back.

I moved "out to the country" from Hudson County almost 2 years ago. I was used to getting my hair done in a top notch salon in the flatiron district in NYC. I'm so happy to have found Michael's Salon out here! Nick is the BEST! My color has never looked so good. Love this place. Also, nice to get a cappuccino while I'm waiting for my color to set. I never ever had to wait. I show up on time & Nick & staff are always greeting me with a smile & are ready to go.

I love this salon it was perfect had me some nice refreshing water while waiting for the color to sit in itâ€™s was great Jesse was awesome and Iâ€™m forever grateful for his hair skills so glad I was in good hands I will be back thank you so much best salon ever! ðŸ’ž

I had an appointment with Shelly at 6:30, I drove almost an hour to go to the Salon because I heard it was good one. I was informed that my stylist was running 15-20 minutes behind when I arrived and was asked if I wanted someone else to do my hair. I figured it was only 20 minutes at the most, I would wait. By 7:10 I was still waiting in the lobby area. The receptionist walked by and noticed me and said "your still waiting! What is she doing" apologizing for the stylist and went back to get her. Shelly came up and explained that she assumed I had left since she couldn't see me where I was sitting and did not take the time to come and actually check the waiting area. So I went back, she asked if I wanted a shampoo before my cut but explained that she could do a dry cut on me just the same. As it was already almost 730 I told her just to do the dry cut. I wanted a slight inverted bob. I received a straight bob cut and a bit of hair spray. I was then taken up to the front desk and charged a full $42 for a dry cut with hair spray after my stylist was 40 minutes late to bring me back!. I will not be back to this Salon this was my first and last appointment. On the plus side, the salon itself was very nice inside and trendy to look at. The look of the salon had me excited, but the stylist I was not impressed with.
