I've been going here since I moved to Albany a few years back. I like the relaxed atmosphere of the place, and I always get a good hair cut. Plus they offer me a drink when I come in, so if I have to wait a little bit it's never a big deal. Love the hot towel and shampoo, and they lather up and shave the back of your neck with the straight razor for that extra clean look. Highly recommend.

I've never been to this establishment before, I dont know their SOP. I made an appointment for 5pm. I showed up at 5pm. There were 4 people waiting for haircuts, and one in the chair. I stood in the foyer for a minute with people staring at me like im an idiot. I finally called out to the 1 hairdresser and asked what I was supposed to do. Do I sit and wait, is there a sign in sheet I have to sign, what the hell am I supposed to do? She told me she was the only one there and that I had to sit and wait. Whats the point of an appointment if I have to wait 2 hours for 4 other people to get their hair cut. Also, try greeting your guests that look like they dont know what the hell is going on and dont make them feel like the village idiot.
