I've had some basic cuts from great clips before. Not always winners, but you get what you pay and ask for. The staff, in the past, has been friendly and accommodating. This time, however, was not it's best.
We were told that the wait would be about an hour, so my husband and I went to get lunch. We came back and were ushered back almost immediately. I was with Kim who did not say more than 10 words the whole time. Didn't ask what I needed, didn't make small talk, didn't even respond when I made comments.
I asked her to take about an 1-1.5 inches off, that doesn't sound like a lot but when your hair is only about 4 inches, it is. She didn't ask for clarification or anything and just started in. I didn't think anything of it, because I know that the info is often saved on their database.
She ended up cutting more like 2-2.5 inches off. I have curly hair and she cut it in such a way that half of my hair just stands right up and the other half lays down. On top of that, she buzzed my hairline, which I did not ask her to do and she didn't ask if she could do. She just did not seem to care at all and wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. It was lazy, unprofessional, and unfriendly. I know I only spent $15 on the haircut but that was ridiculous.
Giving 2 stars still because my husband got what he wanted for the first time in his great clips experience.
