I've been going here for a long time now. I believe Crystal is the BEST in doing highlights. I had moved out of the area after years ago but I will still drive 1hr.25min to have her do my hair. She's just the best & she's also fast!!! Love her!!!

So I've been a customer of strandz salon on Connellsville street for a long time I take my kids there religiously and I've always been satisfied ....until about 2.5 weeks ago When I went to get my hair colored I wanted a baylayge done the girl told me it was going to take a few sessions to get my hair where I wanted it. Which I was fine with so we started the process. She put the color in my hair and within 10 minutes I told her it was getting really really hot she says it was processing About 5 minutes after that I told her it was burning my back that's how hot it was. So checks the foils and tells me "run to the sink gogogo" then tells me everything's OK my hair STARTED To have a reaction to the bleach. She quickly rinsed my bottom layer and multiple stylists kept checking the foils! I could tell when I was done my hair was dried out so I bought products from the salon to put some moisture back into my hair it wasn't until I got home that I realized my hair was completely fried. Within 2 days 6" of my bottom layer broke off. It's been slowly breaking ever since my hair is probly about 3" shorter now other than that bottom layer. I've had multiple other hairdressers look at my hair and multiple conditioning treatments done all for them to tell me there is nothing to do but to cut it. That something HAD TO OF BEEN DONE WRONG. THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY MY HAIR WOULD HAVE REACTED LIKE THAT IF IT WAS DONE PROPERLY. Mind you I was still charged by strandz for the disaster that is my hair and she even suggested that I come back for the special on conditioning treatments after purchasing 40 worth if product.
