I generally like Ulta. Their products are amazing but their salon is another story. I have never professionally had my hair highlighted before and I am about to go on vacation in 4 days so I thought what better than to go to Ulta where they focus on style and beauty. The person that did my hair was very friendly and she tried to do her best I'm sure. However, the whole process left my hair brassy looking and not blonde at all. There are patches in my hair where she missed and I have a strip down the middle of my hair that is brown where the highlights were not taken to the hairline so in turn to be honest I look like a skunk if I where my hair down. I called and spoke to the salon manager who was very nice and apologized. She offered to fix my hair to satisfy my needs. I am supposed to have an appointment this evening. I understand that she is trying to make up for the damage. I feel that rather than wasting money on more product which in the end is going to over process my hair and frankly destroy it just a few days before my vacation she could just return my money. If they really want to satisfy the customer than all I want is to have my money back and call it a day. I would hate to have my hair more damaged by adding more chemicals to it. Hopefully when I go in tonight that will be the case. Otherwise I may have to give up spending time at Ulta.
