If I could rate this salon at a 0 star that's absolutely what they'd get. I didn't even make it in the door before I was treated with such disrespect. I called and inquired about the cost of a hair cut. Now, I have long hair. But I only want a trim. I like to keep my length but needed the ends freshened up, yahno? So she told me it depended on my length. And I was like well I have long hair and she was like well that's more expensive... excuse me but why? A person with short hair gets 1 inch cut off, it's 15 bucks. A person with long hair gets 1 inch cut off, it's 25 bucks. Can someone explain how that even makes sense?! And when I questioned this and tried to understand the rude and ignorant lady on the other line cut me off and said "you can just forget it because I don't want you here" and I'm like dumbfounded! Are you serious? I just didn't understand how this woman could react the way she did. She didn't match my attitude whatsoever. She just lashed out. Clearly having a bad day. Now I'll never go to or recommend this salon to ANYONE. And I will absolutely go out of my way to make sure anyone I know and care about does not go to this salon. Absolutely unacceptable. Get it together, Market Street Hair!
