Despite living in Pittsburgh and driving most of an hour, I've been going to Allante for hair-cuts for several years. She provides excellent service - helping me take my hair, which had been an utter mess, to an excellent and professional cut. My hair is thicker and healthier due to Rosie's work. The spa is luxurious and very comfortable, with comfortable couches and wine and/or coffee for guests. Her massages are excellent and therapeutic. Plenty of off-street parking, and a lovely garden to enjoy in good weather.

My husband and I have been coming to Allante's for about 10 years and we love it! Rose is one of those stylists who knows so much about hair and color and applies that knowledge to crafting and customizing the best styles for each person! I highly recommend her salon for looking your best, but also for her style of service and kindness.. she'll make you part of the family!

Terrible experience. I had a process called Magic Sleek which smooths the hair. It's a very expensive process which was well worth it when I had it done in Florida. Having it done at Allente was a waste of my $300. I will have to redo it when I can find another salonwho offers it. The owner was extremely aggressive very loudly talking to everyone but mr while doing my hair. All she talked about was how wonderful she is....which she's not....how she trains all over Europe etc.etc. Yeah right! The salon was a mess and noy so clean.

I walked in at 145 for my 2pm air brush makeup appointment and was told to be there early to fill out paperwork. The place was nice the cutting floor could use some cleaning and organization. I expected to be out of there by 230 since that is what my confirmation email said. The owner is the one who does the makeup and in the time of me waiting there she was doing someone's hair which I found out was a walk in and she also did a spray tan I didn't even get makeup applied to my face until 330 maybe even later. I ended up not leaving there until 430 when I was told I was only going to be there for 30 minutes they even had me put a credit card on hold and I was told there would be a charge if I was a no show or cancel. As far as the airbrush makeup it was not blended well my eyelashes looked like bug legs and my bottom eyeliner looked like I just woke up. I looked terrible and the makeup wiped off easily. The station and tools used looked like they needed cleaned.When I went to pay she charged me 75 and didn't even apologize or offer to take anything off for keeping me there so late. This place needs to improve on time management organization and professionalism.
