I have literally been a consistent customer at Salon Joey for over 30 years. Creature of habit I guess. Joey is attentive to details, appearntly knowing all of his customers. Busy times follows Kutztown University's schedule, call ahead for an appointment, unless school is out, probably can walk in.

A small salon, but reasonably priced and easy to get an appointment at. The staff chats more with each other than with you, which may be positive or negative depending on your personality type. If nothing else, go to see their adorable pitbull.

I've gone in a couple times and honestly this is the only hair stylist I'll go to in Kutztown. Joey himself works there and he looks just like the the logo outside the shop, so that's a cool bonus.

We were treated like we were inconveniencing them. Stylist (the owner) didn't make conversation during the cut. Uncomfortable experience. Unwelcoming.
