This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a African braiding salon. First off it took them 10 hours to do my micro braids. Once they were finally finished the woman (Gloria) put them in a ponytail. The nxt morning I took my ponytail out to find my braids in the middle are larger than the outside, as well as my natural hair is sticking out of the braids. I instantly called the salon and didn’t get a answer due to it being Sunday. ( but they work Sundays by appt only) so I left a message. Monday at 1pm I haven’t received a call back so I called them. I spoke to the rudest person possible (Mitzi) she over talked me, and said my hair sticking out is due to my hair texture. Never once apologizing or tryna find a resolution. After 10 min on the phone with her she asked me to send pics over. I did, waited a hour and called back. I spoke to another women who hadn’t seen the pictures nor knew anything about my issue. She told me she’ll call me back after looking at the photos. When she called back she asked me to come in so my hair can get fixed. I informed her I wld be the the following day at 5pm. The nxt day I got a txt at 4:52 stating there was a emergency and no one wld be at the salon. I was literally around the corner so I went anyway. And no one was there. I txted back asking what were we gonna do about my hair. Never got a response. The following day I called and got Mitzi’s rude ass on the phone again and her attitude was just as nasty as the first time we spoke. Only this time I was pissed, frustrated and only wanting a partial refund. She said they don’t do that. I let her know how unprofessional they are and that I’ll Never Go there again and hung up. So I was out of $190 and 10 hours of time. And it’s only been 2weeks and my braids are literally sliding out my head. I’m very disappointed in this place.
