This used to be the best place to take my son. He has been going there since he was 6 years old. He is now 15 and severely autistic. The man that cut his hair didn’t not listen to anything I said about my son and my son could tell the man did not want to cut his hair. I walked out paying $20 with a half of a hair cut. I will no longer go back to this business. So sad after all the years I raved about this place. Now I need to find a place that will welcome my son not treat him different!

So we’ve been happy with this place until today’s appointment - the guy cutting my son’s hair had Fox News on at his station and kept trying to discuss politics with my 16yo during his cut. No thanks 👋 - we won’t be back. (FYI in a customer service setting such as this I don’t think it’s appropriate to play anything political from either side - totally unprofessional)

My son came home with the worse haircut he’s ever had!!! I’m currently looking around for another barber to fix this mess! This is a joke!!!

Smart, skillful stylists / haircutters who find out what you want and make the results look good. Remember to get the stylist's card to be able to ask for Christie Marie by name or your other favorite. Appointments are a good idea, although walk-ins are welcome. In Drexel Hill / Pilgrim Gardens, park in the free main lot because the parking meters are enforced. The place is not stuffy, the sports theme is comfortable for all ages. They could charge more but don't tell them that I said it: very reasonable. DO phone ahead to check open days and hours rather than rely on the website or Google - avoid finding the place closed "today" And ask smokers to follow the rules and not smoke in / around the place. For what it's worth, I've been going there for years - whenever I need to go out looking good. You'll love it.

We have tried twice to book an appointment, and we were twice cancelled with short notice, with not much of a plausible explanation. Apparently, it sounded like the stylist we had requested, who had seen us before in another setting, did not want to see us. The only reason that I can think of is that we had disagreed at some point during the early phase of the pandemic about the use of masks, when the stylist was defying related state mandates. I did not find that the salon management handled this professionally, giving us excuses that the stylist was booked, or was not taking new clients, etc. while cancelling us with a few hours notice for appointments that were made days in advance. We would have really appreciated not wasting our time waiting for the appointments and for the stylist being upfront in the first place.
