Been coming here since I moved to Philly last year. They're very friendly and the student price is real easy on the wallet. My first cut was a little funky but I think the girl was new (haven't seen that particular stylist since); I came in the next day and they tweaked it a bit to my satisfaction for free. Every cut since then has been great. If you're a student you probably won't get a better haircut for the price around here.

Anthony is very friendly and his cuts are great for the low student price. Don't forget that it's cash only!

I just called to schedule an appointment asking about the student pricing and trying to schedule two appointments for me, a student, and my mom. I asked if the student price included a wash, because sometimes you go somewhere and get charged tons of extra money for the wash and dry. He told me the wash was included, but not the dry, so I asked how much the dry was, thinking maybe I'd pay a little more. He said $50, which confused me because that is the price of a normal haircut. Then he was really rude and asking me if I'd seen the sign out front blahblahblah, and that getting it dry means getting the full service and it is $50. I asked him why he was giving me such attitude, and he said that he is in a certain point in his career blahblah and is getting a bad vibe from me and for me not to come in hes worked here 30 years blahblah. Real good people skills! I don't know what bad vibe he is talking about, I was trying to schedule two appointments and find out about the prices. Moral of the story, I guess you can't get your hair blow-dried if you're a student. Have fun walking outside in the freezing cold!
