I decided to step out on “faith” and try Hawa’s Hair Salon after an “intense” google search and quite frankly, procrastination. After calling Hawa in the morning to speak with her over the phone, I asked if she could take a look at my hair because of my “scalp” issues with hair “ loss” due to “over-processing” for many years!! She agreed to meet me, that morning, and as soon as I saw her, the body language from her was “sincere” and so “friendly”!! She said she would be able to accommodate me and I made an appointment for the next morning!! Hawa was gentle with me and I realized that she really knows her “craft” and “gift” of hair braiding!! I settled for an “up” do with a “bun” When she was done, I was “extremely” impressed with how “neat” and “beautiful” it was!! I would definitely recommend her to others and will continue to have her braid my hair in the future!! A true blessing!!

Loving the hair. Was painful but my daughter loved the hair.

She does decent box plats but did a HORRIBLE job on my daughter’s passion twists. It took 9 hours, she ran out of hair and wanted to send her home with the top out. I had to help take out some twists to make remaining twists larger to cover hair left out. Still charged me $160 despite the poor quality of work and doing another head during my daughter’s appointment time. VERY unprofessional and greedy!

Great experience, I came in she started immediately. She was very fast yet gentile with my natural hair. Definitely recommend 👌 Will be returning soon.
