Ever since I found this salon a little more than a year ago I have been in love. You will not find any other place more professional, punctual, helpful, beautiful, eccentric, educational or amazing as this one. This changed my entire thoughts about salons. I am so used to going to a salon and sitting there for hours on end waiting to even get in the seat. All the staff is wonderful. The appointment process is accurate and the best thing since sliced bread. you will not be disappointed when you go here because your appointment will take the time that it says online so you can plan your day accordingly. That is one of my favorite things about Taji's and my other favorite things would be their products that they use, their products that they sale (hair products, jewelry, t-shirts) and the things they offer in the salon like tea, coffee, water and light snacks. There is a ton of print around the salon and of course free wifi. There are cookbooks for different lifestyles, photobooks of different styles to help some people decide what they want done to their hair and educational books about natural hair. I am always impressed with the different books I find laying around and I always learn something new. You can kick your feet up (literally) while under the dryer. They really go the extra mile to make sure their clients are comfortable. I can tell by all the things around the salon that Taji and her staff try to encourage others to live holistically and I need the support in that area. Everyone is so knowledgeable on the subject of natural hair and it just makes me feel empowered personally. I started my locs here and I have rough days where I am not sure if I want to continue but every time I go in to have my hair done I am encouraged to keep going on this journey. Any of my questions about my hair or my children's hair is answered thoroughly and that just means the world to me as a mom of 4 small daughters with natural hair and me living in a town where no one looks like us. This place is essential to my life. I will NEVER go anywhere else. I appreciate them very much.
