I thoroughly enjoyed my first-time customer experience at this salon. They are speedy and professional. I did not have to say too much; they heard what I wanted and followed through with it. I am pleased with the care they took with my natural hair while putting in the braids. I will be back—along with my two daughters. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a very quick and professional look. Worth every penny.

I visited LaReine African Hair Braiding yesterday for the first time after another salon in Raleigh wasted my time and money. I called LaReine around 3 p.m. and was sitting in the chair by 4 p.m. The braiders had actually finished for the day but came back to help me, which I really appreciated. The salon was clean, and everyone was so kind and pleasant. They tag-teamed and completed my tribal and box braids in just under 4 hours. Bonus points to the stylist who did the front of my hair—she had the gentlest hands! I can blink without any discomfort, y'all! I'm beyond pleased with their work and professionalism, and I’ll definitely be back.

I had braids installed two weeks ago, and I am loving my hair! The two ladies who braided my hair were so kind, and accommodating when I needed a break to stretch! I will be returning for other service. Excellent customer service.i got the Boho braids

Let me start by saying I'm very picky about who I let in my head. I've had a personal braider for quite some time and decided to give this place a shot. I read every review, looked at all their pictures, and stalked the Instagram page. Even then I was hesitant because most of the pics were a bit outdated. I'm so glad I went! First, I called the day before and they got me in. No calendars booked 2 months out! I got in the very next day at 8am! Well, actually I was 5 minutes late (I gave them a heads up) and when I arrived they had everything ready for me. They asked a lot of questions about what I wanted, part size, length, asked for pictures, and more. At this point I'm a little nervous, but of course I continue. These ladies were amazing and FAST!!! They let me get up to stretch, gave me treats, and asked if I was ok. They also own a beauty supply store which connects to the shop so you can literally get everything you need. When everything was done, she gave me the mirror to see the front and back. I LOVED them so much! The parts and braids were so NEAT and I couldn't stop looking at myself. It's scary going somewhere and not knowing what to expect with such a huge price tag attached. Well, I found my new braid home!! They should update their pictures and charge more because they are phenomenal!! For those wondering I got small knotless braids to my waist. They are perfect and I'm ready for my trip!!! Do yourself a favor and book the appointment!!

The moment I walked in the shop, I was welcomed with smiling faces. I was offered a place to put my bag and they began right away. Mable, the daughter and Aunt are a wonderful trio and deserve 10 stars. They asked me what I wanted and they delivered. Also, it’s a bonus because I got all my beauty supply needs on my way out the door. I highly recommend this place.
