Iâ€™m very picky and had gone through many stylists before finding Keri. My hair is thick and curly so it needs a little TLC. I used to wonder if there was a better stylist than the one I had but now that Iâ€™m with Keri, I have no doubt that Iâ€™m with the best. She now cuts my husband and my 2 sonsâ€™ hair. Sheâ€™s amazing and also super sweet and genuine.

After I moved to Columbia, I looked around town for a bit before finding Keri. She truly exceeded my expectations after our first appointment. The best part is she actually listens to what a customer wants and truly nails the look you're going for. I don't usually leave reviews, but everyone deserves a hairstylist like Keri in their lives!

I am very picky about who styles (and especially colors) my hair. I asked around for the best of the best, and was referred to Keri Bailes by a trusted friend who is equally picky. Yâ€™all, I donâ€™t usually write reviews but Keri is a miracle worker!! I have been highlighting my naturally light brown/dark blonde hair for years and when I first was referred to Keri, I was looking for help to reverse a major color change (I had decided to go medium-dark brown and wanted to go back to my normal blonde). I briefly showed her a couple pictures on my phone of what my blonde color looked like before and she quickly and seemlessley mixed up a color for me and laid out a clear plan. Since the change was so extreme, we had to break it up into two different session, a few weeks apart. I donâ€™t know how, but she managed to make my hair an amazing natural light brown with perfect deminsion after the first session that I loved so much I almost kept it like that. After the second session, not only was I exactly back to my blonde self I had requested, my hair actually felt HEALTHIER even after all the color damage, and looked naturally sun kissed with deminsion and without that â€œstreaky strands of highlightâ€ look that personally find unattractive. I have now been seeing Keri about every 6 weeks for a trim and color refresh, but I swear the way she cuts it and applies the color I actually forget that I need to book an appointment because it just grows out in a way that somehow never shows any roots and always feels and looks healthy. When I came to Keri, I had bad breakage in weird angles and no matter what I did I couldnâ€™t seem to smooth out those tiny hairs that kind of poked out. I forgot to even mention this concern to Keri because all I cared about at first was the color. Somehow after seeing her for about 6 months now... I just noticed that the breakage issue is gone! I donâ€™t know what she did, but I am very happy. In response to whomever wrote that 1 star review, I feel ya girl. Time is precious and we all love to feel pampered and comfortable at the salon. Iâ€™m certain that if you reached out or expressed your concern to Keri directly rather than shaming her publicaly, she would have been happy to resolve the issue or miscommunication and make it right for you. Sure, I have waited in the waiting area a couple times while Keri completed the finishing touch other clients. I can imagine it would be next to impossible to always get it exactly right when guessing how long a clientâ€™s session will take. I am a somewhat new client but what I have noticed and feel confident about is that Keri never gives second rate work; she is consistent and extremely professional and curteous. Keri seems to truly care about her clients and she wants them to leave looking and feeling their absolute best. Personally, I feel the quality of service I receive just completely 100000% outweighs the risk that I might need to wait an extra 10 minutes every once in a while. What Keri has done for my hair is a game changer- I never knew it could look this good! You will not be disappointed if you go to her. Bottom line: Keri has great taste, she knows what looks good, and she knows how to accomplish it. Side note: what this lady does for my hair, I wouldnâ€™t care if she was a dull as a doorknob, but an added bonus is that Keri is easy to be with and you donâ€™t need to worry about awkward forced conversation.

Keri CONSISTENTLY blows (no pun intended) me away with her understanding and expertise. She is brilliant (no pun intended again) with color. I love how she can truly accomplish a natural look. And she manages to make miracles in minutes. I usually leave surprised with how quickly the appointment concluded. Before her, I had yet to meet a stylist I could truly trust. I have such confidence in Keri!

Keri does a great job, I'm really impressed! I moved to Columbia 5 years ago, and for the past few years I have been traveling out of state to go to the hair stylist who has always cut my hair. After trying a few very reputable (and very pricey) salons in the Columbia area, I found that Keri is by far the best! She has reasonable prices and does a wondeful job with my hair. She is highly trained, keeps up with all the current styles, and certainly knows her stuff. You must go see Keri, she's truly awesome at what she does!
