I really wish Id booked our appointments with Dree instead of Sharon. 1st time visiting GV, and Sharon could barely wash & style our hair! We already had haircuts, just simple wash & style, no big deal, nothing complicated. She kept telling me that she'd seen a video online of someone giving a haircut like mine. Okay, Sharon, thats nice but can you go ahead and finish my hair? She seemed very intimidated by our relaxers & the haircuts based on her comments. We left there looking like we had never been to the salon! I had to re-style mine & my Mom's hair as soon as we got back to our hotel, and missed my scheduled appointment later that day. Only reason I paid her was because shes an elderly black woman, but she clearly needs to go to beauty school, or just stop pretending to be a stylist. In the meantime, we watched Dree turn out 2 very nice heads...the $110 Sharon charged for shampoo/style (yes, for S/S! Lol) was definitely a donation, but unfortunately for Sharon won't be back. A poor representation of what GV has for black hair stylist, smh.
