I went to April for the first time today..I showed up with a totally messed up, growing out haircut and left feeling lighter and looking younger..April fixed my mess and gave me a great new cut..she is also an adorable person..I will be back next time we are in Murrels Inlet.

I’ve been going to Stox and co for a few years now. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Customer service is always spot on and they are all so attentive and friendly. April is the best person I’ve ever had do my hair. Not only does she do a fantastic job but makes the few hours spent there so enjoyable. Every time I leave I feel so rejuvenated and relaxed.

I am new to the area and chose Stox and Co. Salon based on reading reviews of quite a few salons in the area. I am so happy I chose this one! I have also been to the Stox Spa at Mingo. I do recommend both! On first impression, I really like the layout of the salon and its lighting. It enhances the salon experience to be in a bright, clean and welcoming environment. Everyone I interacted with at the salon was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. I went into my appointment with a picture of the direction I wanted to take my hair. I also wanted to blend my natural dark roots so I could have my hair grow between without a harsh line of demarcation. I am so appreciative of the time and care that went into achieving the color I wanted. My hair wasn't lifting for the color initially just right due to past color on my hair, but we got it to this beautiful shade, and I love it! It's been a few washes, and the color looks on point. They were also helpful in advising me on product that would be better for me and my fine hair now that I am in a humid environment vs the dry desert. I look forward to returning for my next appointment.

I have enjoyed 4 services now at the Wellness Cottage (Stox & Company) and all were amazing! The Wellness Journey was so relaxing and healing as well as the 90 minute massages! I highly recommend!! I just booked another service! Top knotch!

Two times I have reached out to Stox & Co. in a panic, and both times they provided me with exactly what I needed. One time I said, "Help! I want someone who is really good with short hair to chop off my hair and make me look amazing! Oh, and I need an appointment today or tomorrow because I leave for Europe in three days." I received a call back immediately; I had an appointment scheduled for the next afternoon; my hair looked amazing! I am very impressed with the professionalism of this salon as well as their dedication to making their clients happy.

I booked a reservation for a couples massage for 60 minutes, with my husband and I for Valentine’s Day; I also did two add-on services, the foot refresher and the scalp massage, which adds an additional 15 minutes edit each add on, giving us a final 90 minute service. We booked at the Murrells Inlet location and upon arrival the place was a bit small with very little parking but the inside was very nice and seemed roomy. The staff was nice as well. Our appointment was for 1015am and while waiting to be took back, we sat in the “relaxation room” which was anything but relaxing due to the salon portion of the place being really loud, which is located right next to the relaxation room. We didn’t get in the room to start until 1030 and our service was over at 1138. We technically got shorted 22min, which was disappointing to me considering we paid $270. Other than that the massage was good.
