Okay this happened a bit ago but I'm still pretty upset. I had been to this location before and had a decent experience, so I took my son there for his first haircut. I tried to check in online multiple times over an hour before going in and the online check in for this location was not working so I tried calling and could not get through to the salon, but I went in anyway. When I arrived I let the girl at the counter know that I had tried to check in and call but was unsuccessful, and that I was here to get my son his first haircut. She didn't acknowledge the fact that I attempted to contact them, she simply said that even though there was NOBODY physically waiting in the store that check ins would be honored first and I could be waiting an hour before being seen. So my son and I sat in the waiting area while no one arrived for 20 minutes, meanwhile the girl who I spoke to had finished her customer AND cleaned her station and she just putzed around for a bit until a person who had checked in online showed up, she greeted him with a smile and sat him down. Still my son and I sat patiently waiting, then a woman came in who really seemed angry like maybe an upset customer coming back to ream whoever she had felt with, then she walked behind the counter and clocked in only to be informed by the other girl that she was going to be doing my son's hair. The woman scoffed a little and begrudgingly directed my son and I to her chair and asked what we wanted. I told her I wanted it short in the back and longer in the front, kind of like a long top fade, but honestly the disposition the woman had made me feel guilty asking for anything. So she cut the top a little and then the back, she did nothing to blend the lengths together or anything, I kept asking her to and she would just cut like one place. My son sat mostly still and eventually I gave up trying to get her to do her job and paid and left. I ended up fixing it myself at home because it looked terrible. I will never be returning to this location after the way we were treated, I honestly believe that the employees truly don't like doing haircuts for kids, and understand that some kids come in and may be difficult to work with but that is not always the case. Also, it is in fact their job, as it is something advertised by the company. I still cannot believe that as a paying customer I was treated like such an inconvenience by the people working there, that level of unprofessionalism is completely appalling. Anyone of my mom friends who ask for advice on where to go for a first haircut I steer far away from great clips
