It s has been 3 yrs. since relocated to Summerville SC from CT. I have been from Mt Pleasant and almost every area except the place I live to find a hair salon. My search is over. I found Mod Studio in Summerville. A adorable place, friendly, clean with exceptional service. I cannot tell you how happy I am finding this boutique of a gem. Jillian is my hairdresser. She absolutely knows her stuff. She is attentive with outstanding creative, artistic skill applying cut and color. The front desk customer service is the best. Always happy, warm and inviting. I love this hidden gem in the middle of adorable Summerville. It is my hopes that this review helps others. I know the difficulty of finding services after a move. You will not be disappointed.

I love this place. My husband and I moved to SC in 2016 and after going to the same stylist in CT for over 10 years, I was extremely skeptical I would ever find someone I liked as much. Enter Laurie. An excellent stylist who listened to what I was going for (trying to get back to my natural hair color) and came up with a genius idea on how to do that. The cut was also fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place. And after seeing the work of the other stylists around me as well, I really don't think you could go wrong.

I had an appointment on a Friday with Morgan and she was great. She took her time to make sure my hair was exactly what I wanted. I had some washed out ombré that I wanted blended a little more smoothly. She also fixed my eyebrows which look great as well. Thank you!

It was my first time at MOD and Margie made me feel very comfortable. I took a leap and did something different with my hair, and her guidance and attention to detail was wonderful. The beautiful boutique is a plus, but watch out 😉 you may be picking up something new to go with your haircut!

I had my hair and makeup done for my solo performance with the Summerville Orchestra. Kate and Krista from the studio did a phenomenal job! I believe the photos speak for themselves. You can't go wrong :)
