As an Orangeburg native, I would NEVER recommend Gwen at Master's Hair Studio to anyone. She is the definition of unprofessionalism and bad business. I asked her if she could properly dye a frontal hair piece I purchased and she agreed, since she was incompetent of doing that correctly (dyed the lace) her mistake has cost me over $200. I went to her about the situation and she had no remorse, said she wouldn't give me not even one dime of my money back that she cost me for the damage of her work, and I could not even receive an apology! Before her coming to meet me (told me to be there at 5:15pm), I sat with a client of Gwen's at the hair salon who had a hair appt at the same time and we discussed how unprofessional it is to have people sitting for over 40 minutes waiting for you when calling yourself a professional; She didn't arrive at the salon until 5:55pm with a bad attitude. Just basically saying how it was my issue. In addition, after speaking with her it was evident that she does not even know much about lace closures/frontal pieces in the first place. There is plenty more I could say to describe how she conducts bad business but in closing, take the high road and find a stylist who cares about you as a "client" and is adult of to take responsibility and fix the situation when they have made a big mistake. #SaveYourMoney #YouveBeenWarned #BadBusiness #ThinkTwice
