Anna is literally the only person you should ever let touch your eyebrows in the entire city of Jackson. I’ve been to 7ish places and no one has ever done a better job then her (including another Ulta employee who waxed off almost my entire left eyebrow then painted it back on so I couldn’t see how badly she messed up until I washed my face later). On the downside, trying to get a shade match is a nightmare. I’ve had to return everything I’ve ever had a “professional” pick out for me.... I’m sorry I’m makeup challenged. That’s why Ulta is supposed to be a great place to go, because of their “helpful, knowledgeable” staff. Nope, not either of those things.

My father has been in the hospital, so when I entered this store yesterday, I wasn't perfectly made up, and I was wearing a blouse and blue jeans. But none of that mattered to the awesome staff. They were all so friendly and helpful! And not overbearing, either. The atmosphere was so pleasant. I was actually in there a very long time, just taking my time and browsing, and because of this, I noticed that the staff were friendly and respectful to every person who crossed the Ulta threshold. In addition, the store was clean and well stocked with yummies and goodies. This was my first visit to this Ulta, but it definitely won't be my last!

Why is everyone crying that they are not getting greated when they walk inside a store? This store has an amazing selection of professional products. The prices I have seen on stuff are cheaper then Macy’s. The staff has always been willing to help me find something.

I went in the store on a week day when it was not busy, wearing clean scrubs as required for my job and in no way unpresentable. The two girls at the register didn't look up, the girl stocking perfume said welcome but didn't offer help, and it was downhill from there. I wanted to spend quite a bit of money on Tarte's new foundation line, some professional hair care products, and makeup accessories, but after 15 minutes with no offers to help locate, find a shade, or try on a new makeup line, despite an employee walking past me 3 times without saying a word, just to go straighten shelves, I left. I called corporate who said the district manager would be in touch, but he/she never was.

I got a hair cut and style at this place on Friday evening. The lady that cut and style my hair did good. A different lady wash and blow dry my hair she was caucasian which I had no problem with at all. My problem was when this lady was calling me Girl the time she was doing my hair. Anytime she wanted me to get up from a chair come on Girl just anytime. When she start blow dry my hair she use this brush and was being rough on my head so I pull away and she started to be gentle afterwards. When I left I mention to her the Manager to me that 1st time Guest gets 30% discount. She didn't want to give it to me so she want and got another lady and she look and I had to explain to her also Jesus and I got finally it. When I first arrived at the salon I saw her face and I greeted her and she pointed me to a chair. This Lady was very unprofessional and also prejudice. She should address all clients by their names or say ma'am. It's so sad that racism is still so strong. If you are of another color you will get treated different here and you will not get complimented in no kind of way in the salon. I got really upset and had to sit in that chair and Pray to God plus I had my son with Autism with me. I do forgive this Lady for the way she has acted and I will be Praying for this Salon.
