David has done my hair for years and his 25+ years in the business is easy to recognize, but when our schedules became a tad to difficult to maneuver around, he recommended Emil to me. She is absolutely precious and fabulous at what she does. She has been taught the most up to date skills sets at The Aveda Institute. This salon is well kept and does not have a lot of the chaos of other salons her in town. Everyone is always professional and polite and they keep the chatter of their personal lives to a minimum. I would highly recommend any of the three stylist to anyone looking for a great hair care experience.

David has colored and styled my hair for many years! I trust him with my colors and styles! I always receive compliments with any style or color I have had! He is an amazing stylist! The salon atmosphere is welcoming, clean and professional! All the stylists are exceptional! I highly recommend Fringe Salon!

I had the best experience at the salon today. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was very professional. I especially enjoyed the cleanliness of the salon. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great stylist and great salon.

While the quality of the hair care provided was adequate and comparable to other salons, the personal treatment was not! I made an appointment for my niece to have her hair trimmed and color applied in preparation for her upcoming wedding. She has a 2 year old daughter so my mother went with her to help with her. Mind you, she drove 3 hours one way to go to this salon based in the reviews. My mother and my great niece were treated very rudely. The 2 year old was not acting up or causing a problem. She was watching music on a phone and playing with her grandmother. She was NOT getting in to anything or causing a scene. She was extremely well behaved. A gentleman, dare I say gentleman, told them to stop playing her music, stop playing in general, and to basically sit still and shut up. We understand liability, but she was NOT in any hair stations nor anywhere she was NOT allowed. She was on the couch and in the lobby type area. Normally, my niece does not take her daughter to hair appointments, but when you drive 3 hours, what do you do? I believe if this establishment does not want or like children around, then it should be posted. And certainly should not be treated as they were. Since I paid for this as a gift for my niece, I feel compelled to write this review. We have a stylist we have used for more than 10 years and only chose this establishment because she is on maternity leave. And I assure you, she does not hate children in her salon. We will NOT be back and I would not recommend going if you have to take a child, regardless of how well behaved they are.

Happy, minimalist atmosphere - not snooty. Loved my stylist, Emily . She just replaced my 'monthly Austin salon trip'. I live in Brownwood so it saves me a ton of time, and it was $30 cheaper than what I usually spend, for equal talent and comfortable surroundings. They actually wear CLOTHES to work...refreshing. I didn't have to pay for parking. Again, very convenient. ***Now, for the main thumbs up. I have a very short pixie cut. I have cowlicks in odd places and very fine, bleached blonde hair. Emily listened to what I needed and made fast work of cutting my hair, paying close attention to my cowlicks. Turned out awesome. I'm sold!
