Went searching for a new place to start getting mine and my family's hair cut. Went in here at about 7:35 on a Saturday night alone. I honestly don't have much hair and a typical cut for me, with clippers, takes about 10 minutes or less. I was immediately jumped on when I entered and was told that they were closed. The door says 8:00. Obviously this place is not very customer oriented, so I would have to say that it probably isn't a good idea to go here. I'm not sure where customer service has run off to these days, but I ran automotive shops for 30 years, and if I had a customer come in that needed a service that wouldn't keep my guys there all night, or if the customer was in a truly desperate situation, then we stayed and took care of them. First, because it's the right thing to do, and second, that is how you get and retain customers, the people that actually pay your bills and salary so that you can keep your business open. For some reason, in the last few years, it seems like everyone out there, brick and mortar businesses or the ones you deal with over the phone like cable or phone companies, have ENTIRELY forgotten the fact that the person they are dealing with is the one responsible for their paycheck. That without the customer, there is no business and no job. How did that happen? Seems very obvious to me. They all treat you like you are inconveniencing them now, a complete reversal of the way it was for as far back as there have been people offering a service, and people paying for that service. I suggest that everyone reading this go open up their own businesses and treat people like you really need them and care about them, and people will be so shocked and delighted that you will have more business than you know what to do with, I can almost guarantee that. The place that I ran, people would drive over an hour, pass dozens of shops on the way, just to be treated like a human being and that they really mattered.

Dear Eric, there is a slight different between PATCHY HAIR LOSS and short. Only two employee working, plus the owner. Three people taking care of 20 customers. Rush you through a haircut, stylist think he can handle 3 customer simultaneously, pull the cape from previous customer and put it directly on me, so I am covered by stranger's hair? Thank you? But why storm out for no apparent reason and come back 20 min later saying sorry, customer outside. Excuse me? Street hairstylist? Even the owner think my hair is screwed up, told me to come back next time for a better haircut. There is no next time.

I got the Japanese hair straightening done here about a year ago for $300 which is considerably way cheaper than other places based on hair and honestly loved it. It didn't damage my hair and left it pin straight. My hairstylist was really nice as well. Communication is a bit slower due to small language barrier but their English is still understandable. I will be going back this week to get treatment done again :) Edit: Adding to my review from last year, third time coming and getting the treatment done. Have to give extra props to Jack. He is super sweet and funny. Love Jack 😊

first of all .. this rating is for the young male hair stylist "jack" from new York. (my family's been coming to this salon for quite a while & we've been satisfied with other employees.) today .. we made an appointment for haircut at 12:00. we arrived at 11:45. they washed my son's hair & had him seated in the chair and wait...wait...wait.. (no apologies..no explanations..) finally (after waiting 30 min. ) at 12:20, i asked another stylist to cut his hair. no apologies from the stylist we booked an appointment with! do not come here expecting service & quality from anyone else but the owner. my advice : don't book an appointment with the young guy from new york.
