For those of you seeking a new tanning home in San Angelo, TX - do NOT choose Electric Beach & Salon!! I initially chose this place because they were the cheapest in town and I wanted to save $12 compared to the other nicer salons that average $50 per month.
On my first visit when I signed up, the lady was not gracious or welcoming, she handed me the clipboard and asked for my license - then told me to have a seat. I sat and patiently waited as I saw customer after customer come into the salon and tan before me. Finally after the 3rd person, I walked up asked the lady if I missed something. She just starred at me like I was stupid. I said that this was my first visit, I filled out the paperwork and paid - "Why are these ppl going before me?" She said that I had to sign the book, which I explained to her that she did not tell me to sign. I did get in next.
On the next day, I came in at the same time to find the same lady. However, after the hassle from the day before, I was 30mins early of their 24hour wait time frame. So you know - they follow the law to the MINUTE! (no 10-15min leeway.) You have to wait the exact 24 hours to tan - starting from the minute you finished the day before. Annoying!
Now on my final day, I requested when my last day was to tan(considering I signed up in February, which only has 28 days), which I was informed that February doesn't matter - a tanning package advertised as 30 days is really only one month to the date. So everyone signing up - don't sign up in February!
But really just don't go here - unless you want to tan with rude people and waste all the money you could have saved waiting to tan.
