I cannot recommend Shep Studio enough. It's one of the best salons in the state, maybe even the country. I know people who still fly from the coasts back to Utah to get their hair done at Shep Studio. My stylist is Patrick, who really knows curly hair. If you have naturally curly hair you know how hard it is to find a stylist who understands and can cut for curls. Ask for Patrick, you won't be disappointed. The studio itself is modern and beautiful--and very clean. I always feel welcome and taken care of as a client. I can trust I'll get a beautiful cut and color, even if I come in with no idea of what to do. Shep Studio is just one of those places you can rely on to get an amazing cut that really suits you. I recommend Shep Studio to everyone I know.

This studio is super edgy and I was unsure if I'd feel welcome here, however, the stylists here are so kind and fun to talk to! I'd have loved to give a better rating, but my haircut wasn't up to par. I stated exactly what I wanted in a haircut simply and to the point, I gave my parameters, and was only vaguely followed. So, great place, amazing people, I'm just not impressed with my haircut. Great thing about hair though: it grows back!

I love coming here so much. Every staff member and stylist Iâ€™ve interacted with has been professional, personable, and really present with what they are doing and who they are talking to. It makes you feel like everyone genuinely wants you to come out of there feeling more confident and comfortable than you were when you walked in. And I always come out with the best hair Iâ€™ve had in a long time. They really know what theyâ€™re doing!

My husband and I both get our haircuts here, and are so happy every time!! Honestly I've never seen anyone do a better job with a men's cut. Shep and his team are fabulous, and I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks again!

This place is AMAZING! Great customer service and atmosphere! I was unhappy with a coloring I got one Saturday (it was done well--just wasn't what I had in mind) and was reached out to by Shep himself with offerings of a free deep conditioning and $20 towards a product. I was able to get in to get my coloring redone just a couple days later with a new stylist (my original stylist's last day was the day she did my hair) and and got the best coloring I have ever gotten FOR FREE. Shep was even in the salon and checked in on my multiple times to make sure I was happy with the process and results so far. Everyone at the salon is so kind as well! I was a little intimated going to the salon at first because everything and everyone is so hip--I am not--so I was worried that the stylists might be snooty, but everyone is so kind and meets you with a smile. No one was annoyed that I wanted my color redone, they just kept telling me that they wanted me to love my hair and i do! Also as a side note, each stylist is required to go through training and classes through the salon on top of the schooling they already received to get their license, so you're getting some REALLY well trained stylists! Go there and you will be treated amazingly and feel like a hip goddess! Huge thanks to Shep and his awesome stylists!
