I went in for a trim at the Chester location at first. The guy I was placed with, Constantine, first off, cut my hair dry. He laid it down on my shoulders to cut and no idea what it was he was doing not how to cut bangs or layers. Instead of admitting he didn't know what he was doing or what I wanted (which he told me after hacking away at my hair for 20 mins then pulling the cape off of me and saying I needed to come back so he could cut anothers guys hair that was being impatient in the lobby.) I also showed him a picture for reference multiple times. Whilst pulling the cape off of me and talking over me, he says he can't give me the haircut I want bc my hair was too damaged (only 30 mins before this incident he had already trimmed away my dead ends.) I said I couldn't just come back and I was there then bc that's when I had time to be there and I said if it wasn't going to be fixed, I wanted a refund. Another employee heard what was going on and as I'm explaining to her what I wanted and what he was doing he started nearly yelling over me saying I had to wait for a manager for a refund. The other employee Tasha said she would give me a refund and he yelled "DONT GIVE HER A REFUND!" To which she replied if I was unhappy with my service, she was not letting me leave with having paid for it. When she gave me the refund, she said she was sorry and that she would fix it but didn't want to start any drama which leads me to believe this isn't the first time this has happened with him. I had been a faithful customer there for the last 3 years but this was enough to make me never go back there. He was rude, tried to blame me for his lack of knowledge instead just owning up to the fact that he couldn't do what I wanted and placing me with someone else vs taking chunks out of my hair, leaving random lengths and flyaways, then getting frustrated, ripping the cape off of me and getting hostile. I called the Col Hgts location afterwards telling them what happened and Angela was very remorseful and helpful and I will definitely be sticking with her moving forward.
