Having been coming to Hair Cuttery for years. I had a special person at the Mapledale Plaza shop but she left. I came to this one last week and told her what I wanted. She didn't ask many questions (my hair is short). I told her I always had the type of cut that I could wash, put gel on, scrunch and go..and it looked good. After she finished (which she did quickly -- for instance, not checking to see if the ends on the side were even), off I went. Of course it looked good when I left the salon (or so I thought), but it was horrible. Flat on top (no matter what I did couldn't do anything with it). I went back on Wed. when I got off work. She was working on a customer and I told her why I was there. She was not apologetic not was her attitude nice. She quickly said "well I can't help you tonight, this is my appointment only day, and I can't help you." I said "what?" and then she looked at the other girl who was finishing up a customer and told me that she could help me......except for the fact that she forgot to tell her that! So after she finished with her customer, she went out to get them a soft drink and was gone about 15 min. I asked my original hairdresser if she told her about me and she hesitated and said she just went out to get us drinks, she'll be back soon. When she returned, it was at that time she was told to take care of me (she knew nothing about it). Then she got an attitude, but warmed up after we started talking. She gave me some tips on haircare (which I appreciated), and when it was over, she charged me the full price. I said "wait, I already paid full price for a botched up haircut...are you saying I have to pay the same thing again?" She said "yes." After I told her how unfair that was, she said the manager wasn't there at the time and only she could make that decision. So I had to pay full price AGAIN and when I got home, I realized my haircut was messed up again......it looks nicely layered on one side, but length and layer is different on the other.. Horrible experience and with $50 for haircut, plus $10 in tips, I will not be coming back. It's a shame too b/c I've had lots of good experiences at the other shops...…...never will I go to this location again!!!
