I went to Dk and Amy to get box braids for the first time and I have to say the results we amazing and worth it. The staff was kind and was able to answer any questions. I had my braids done by Amy who did an awesome job! I will definitely be coming back to her again.

It was a great service. Got there at 9 and they started doing my hair right away. It only took 3 hours to get my entire head braided. I also had 2 people in my hair and they worked hard and diligently and I was finished in GREAT time. The only reason why they didn't get 5 stars is because of miscommunication about information. I thought prices go by the size braids you want, so I was under the impression of getting the $150 size. But apparently because of the thickness and length of my hair my starting price would have been $180, so I wasn't prepared for that. Also they provide the hair for box braids but failed to mention that if you want to add some color in your hair, you must bring your own hair then. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to others. They work fast and do a good job.

I called to get information and explain the type of style I wanted, whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. Very unprofessional. I don't want anyone touching my hair with a bad temper and poor customer service skills.

The customer service was very nice and the facility was clean which is why I gave it two stars. I hate they way they did my hair, I went there for twist but they braided them first and then twisted the so my hair looks odd. They made the braid/twist too big even after I told them in the beginning I couldn't have a big bun due to my job. I have had this same style done at other places and I have loved it. I was jammed up for time this time so I went here. Don't waist you time nor money. I am going to call the shop later on to see if they can fix this or help me take it out. I am horrified.
