I have been coming to Sheldeez for several years and the service has been wonderful. The receptionist is friendly and very helpful. The ladies that shampoo are very courteous and professional. Margaret has worked miracles with my hair. It not only looks good but it is strong and healthy. It’s easy to make an appointment and the hours accommodate my busy work schedule. All the stylist support each other and willingly step to meet the needs of the clients. Great atmosphere!

Bad to Good! They have two locales where they do hair, one downstairs and another upstairs. I was taken aback but ventured upstairs and when I walked in to the upstairs salon, the receptionist asked me my name and told me to sit down. I just sat and waited. A half hour passed by and I asked her, if the stylist knew that I was there, and she replied yes and that was it. She never told me who was going to work on my hair nor, did I see her move to tell anyone that I was waiting. That was the second strike. I was so excited to get my fro tamed, so I waited another half hour. At this point I'm boiling and about to take my phone and start my review of the salon since that the final strike. Well, low and behold, the shampoo girl told me to have a seat which made me wonder if I was going to get my hair wash and wait another half. Anyway, I reluctantly allowed me to wash my hair. After that, to my surprise it was smooth sailing and why I gave the salon 4 stars. The stylist apologized profusely and was very pleasant. She explained the reason for the delay and proceeded to blow dry and flat iron my hair. My fro was tamed and I was PLEASANLTY surprised. She can do hair !!! She also gave me a 15% discount (which they usually give to first time clients) but nonetheless I was happy with beautiful flat hair. It was a little pricey since I also got a trim but well worth it and will definitely go see her again. Thanks

This salon is a little tricky to locate. It's not actually in the building that says, "Shaldeez Hair Products & Salon." I think the employees need to make it a point to explain this over the phone or ask the client if they need assistance getting to the building. I went in thinking I was going to pay $220 for micro braids. When someone started to braid my hair, I told her the braids were too big. They were more like box braids. She was a little frustrated but she ended up redoing the braids for me. A while later, I realized the braids were increasing in size. Unfortunately she didn't quite understand how small I wanted the braids. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with their work and everyone was very kind. I also ended up paying for hair in the end which I think should be mentioned on the website or over the phone. When I tell people how much I spent on this style, they laugh. I will continue to go to my normal salon where they charge $180 for actual micro braids including the hair.

The Management and staff are very pleasant and helpful. Very good at making you feel comfortable, Addressing any issues you may have in a timely and professional manner. The ladies are skilled and knowledgeable in there craft.
