I recently switched to Shear Madness after a very long affiliation with another hair dresser. I could not be happier. The staff is always very professional and my hairdresser listens to my requests. The customer service is second to none. I get confirmation emails and reminders, of my upcoming appointments, which anyone with a busy lifestyle can appreciate. Michelle and her staff regularly attend seminars and trade shows to keep their knowledge and skills up to date. I have recommended Shear Madness to my entire family and to all my friends.

Shear Madness is the only place I shall go for my family’s hair needs. Michelle does my boyfriends, my sons, mine, and will cut my daughters hair when she’s ready for her first cut. Michelle has cut my hair since I was a child and graciously cared for my grandmothers hair religiously, ever Friday at 10:30 for fifteen years until she passed away in April of this year. Michelle even attended my grandmothers funeral, and that will forever mean the world to me and more. This is more than just a place for me to get my hair done...it’s a second home.

At the recommendation of a friend I went here for a cut and all over color with Michelle. My cut is great but I was so thrilled about my new hair color. I didn't have a great idea about what I actually wanted to do but Michelle took the time to have a conversation about things I liked, we went through the color swatches, and she helped me choose something that turned out great. The whole staff there was friendly. I'll definitely be going back.

I moved to Roanoke a year ago and haven’t found anyone I loved to do my hair until I went to shear madness! Awesome people. Great atmosphere. Michelle did wonders on my hair!!
