I just booked a last minute appointment with Tanya Torres, the salon manager at the Williamsburg Ulta and could not have been MORE satisfied!!! She asked lots of questions and made sure that I got exactly what I didn't even know that I wanted. ( admit it... we all sit down and expect our stylists to read our minds) The appointment began with a fabulous head massage masked as a shampoo and condition treatment. Then we got down to business. I love m "new do". Thanks Tanya!!!!

I personally like Ulta, just not a fan of this location. I came in here yesterday to just make a small purchase. Got up to the register which is where my problem started. Amber, the woman who cashed me out, took my coupon, but never scanned it. So I had to tell her, and then she had to do a refund and ring it all back through. As if my troubles ended there, the change she gave me didn’t sound correct. Of course she had another customer because the other cashier walked away to make phone calls. I counted and triple checked to be certain that I was correct, and then went up to speak to her after. She gave me a mean glare like she was upset I was back. I watched her carefully because I’m not entirely sure it was an accident. She ended up having to get her colleague who was making phone calls, and then the two of them tried to figure out simple math. Of course they apparently couldn’t and had to call over a manager. It wasn’t until the manager came over, that this second mistake was corrected. HOWEVER, while this was taking place Amber walked away with no apologies to me. She just didn’t want to be bothered, nor did she want to get in trouble. As the other cashier, Mason tried to cover for her. Extremely disappointed that this is how customer service is handled and if you don’t know simple math, then please use a calculator. I don’t mind, just don’t rip me off and try to cover it up. Absolutely unprofessional. I’d expect more from a company like Ulta, but I’ll just find a different place to fit my needs. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

My boyfriend in a great attempt to be sweet went into Ulta ans spent anout 100$ on things he thought I would like as well as purchasing me a gift card for 60$. When I went in to return the things that just weren't for me the manager Anna acted highly inconvenienced but after 5 to 10 minutes finally was able to load a gift card for the purchased items. After shopping for over an hour with my 6 year old, she was ready to go. I go to check out and there is a problem with the card she just loaded which means she has to call customer service which she never got through to anyway after about ten mins standing there and here walking away multiple times the card works at the end she goes to take the gift receipt with all the other items he had purchased. I kindly asked may I keep that just in case any other products dont work for me and that's when she gets an attitude and informs me that " next time he should just purchase you a gift card " HA excuse me?? He did ma'am after working all day he came here shopped which men dont typically do AND purchased me a gift card so that's really not something you should comment on anyway was my response. She then goes to make a copy of the gift receipt when another associate asks her again to come help them (at this time I've been on line for almost 30 minutes) so I say um no I've waited long enough here so can we please just finish up so I may leave, she STILL chose to walk away and go help someone else for the THIRD time! When she finally got back to me with my copy she said no apologies so I informed her that her customer service was horrible as well as her comments on what my boyfriend should or shouldn't have done. Still no apologies other than " I'm sorry you feel that way" in a way that made it clear that she was not at all "sorry". I have been a LONG time customer and I have spent so much money its ridiculous. However after this experience I have NO desire to ever return to this store.

I love this place because I have sensitive skin and I have to try different things and they let you return products

Workees there seemed more interested in gossiping than helping customers. Did eventually find one that was great, though.
