I went in for a haircut. I thought my hair was the perfect canvas for a stylist because is was past my shoulders and one length. I didn't need anything "fixed", but just wanted my ends to be lighter because I had a blunt cut. The stylist I had didn't seem very experienced and she cut my hair uneven and with too many uneven layers. I did not want layers because I hated the fact that pieces of hair fall out when I tie it back. The right side of my hair, closest to my face, is so short and blunt that it doesn't blend well with the longer pieces. I had to return the next day to get it fixed. Because of this "blunt layer" on my right side, the stylist had to do the same on the left. It's still not fixed, but I will not go back. At this point, I feel that I will need to cut my hair the same length as that "blunt layer" in order for my hair to be even. This would be at least another two-three inches. Very disappointed! My friends commented on my "haircut" yesterday, and honestly, I was embarrassed that it was so awful. Nobody said it looked nice... :( My only saving grace is that my hair grows fast. I wonder if I had the same stylist as anmg2010. She was nice but just really inexperienced. She even said that she has clients all the time that don't like their hair. I suppose that should have been a red flag right there.
