I have nothing but positive things to say about Vittor and Nicole. I have been having my hair cut by this man since I was 5 , that is over 10 years: never once have I been treated disrespectfully or with any disregard to my personal comfort, and I get the cut I wanted every single time. For anyone who has been reading these comments or knows Vittor and Nicole it is clear that 5 stars is the only rating they deserve. In regards to the one star review which was clearly posted in a petty fit of rage (and for the recordI am not one to disregard people’s opinions in the slightest). Additionally this review has been posted in the wrong place and is directed at the salon as a whole when Nicole in fact is an independent stylist. It is full of absurd and rude remarks that are offensive to the stylist and the salon. I understand the feeling of anger towards an assumed mistreatment: but the story that was told is not the truth and therefore I feel it needs to be reassessed. I went in to the salon today and spoke face to face with Vittor and he told me that the client who had claimed to only be a little late actually came in 12 min late and proceeded to go to the bathroom for another 10 min before coming up for their cut, and at this point there was only about 20 min left for their 45 min cut so they were given the option to either wait for the male client to be served or they could rebook. Other completely unrelated accusations were also made just to make the situation look worse including mentioning the stylists clothes and “disregard for her female clients”. This is a ridiculous ploy that is being used to back up a flawed story and honestly makes me sick to my stomach. I apologize if this was a lot to read and absorb but as a friend and long time client of this salon I respectfully ask you to report this vindictive review. Thank-you for reading.

I started going to Vittor Salon just under a year ago after a disastrous experience at Lola Salon, Victor got my hair colour and hair health back in shape, I highly recommend this place, always friendly polite and on time, I read the negative experience above and to be honest am completely confused, not sure why they would expect the place to be packed, from my experience they time there appointments perfectly, I know exactly how long my procedures take and just as they finish then the next client walks in, they don't stack them up and rush you out like the other places I have been too. also confused why the Salon has a bad review, as it is stellar, the other chair is rented to a separate business, this Salon is the best and I have been too a lot of the big fancy places and have been disappointed, this is where quality lives

I was referred to this salon to see Nicole from a long time client of hers and my business partner went there to see her as well. I had an appointment for 2 PM yesterday and unfortunately arrived 9 minutes late due to unexpected accident traffic... 9 minutes!!! This was my first visit to the salon and I've been looking for a regular hairdresser for a while. Upon arriving I found Nicloe sitting in one of the barber chairs reading a magazine. Obviously with the place empty besides 1 person there on a weekend they don't have much business there. I apologized for my tardiness BY 9 MINUTES and was greeted with an unbelievable attitude like I was bothering her and tells me I will have to wait until her 2:30 appointment leaves. It is 2:09pm!!! And with the weather conditions how does she even know if THAT appointment may be late or may not even show up???? I have short hair which has finally started growing back after my chemotherapy which she was well aware of!!! I simply needed a trim which takes no more than 10 minutes. I have been trimming it myself and simply needed the back trimmed since I can't see it to do a proper cut myself. I was turned away so she could continue reading her magazine and wait 20 minutes for her Male client that MAY be coming in. I was a paying customer as well!!!! It is obvious she prefers a pure male clientele as she more than once specified she has a MAN coming in in 20 minutes. Is it that she thought she wouldn't get as much of a tip from me being a female and not be impressed by her inappropriate attire? She's definitely working it.. and I'm not talking about the hair!!! Knowing that I am a recovering cancer patient and needed some help to control my regrowth it sickens me how she treated me and I'm sure many others hence the EMPTY Salon in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday!!! Nicole.. You have lost 2 customers and I will share my story with anyone that crosses my path. You need to get a personality and perhaps you need a reminder that you are supposed to be a hairdresser not what you are acting like. Only a matter of time before this place will be going under with this kind of customer service!!!!! Sad.. PS... Read the reviews of how accommodating for the males.. even after hours! But turn away a cancer patient 9 minutes late for her appointment at 2 PM in the afternoon on a Saturday!!!!!!! Disgusting.. Karma will show you how to be a human being!!

Great place to get your hair cut, colour etc. After years of Yorkville salons, I finally found Victor and have been so happy with my hair and colour since. I book an appointment, show up at the scheduled time (often just ahead of my appointment) and Victor works quickly with focussed attention on my hair. Victor is also a very affable person which makes the time pass very quickly.
