My recent visit was the worst .. I had booked appointment a month ahead for full highlights told 200.00 gave deposit of 50.00. Before that I was told to email pictures of myself so I did straight and curly then a picture of the colour I wanted. Yes my hair was black and I wanted to go blonde, never had any further contact with anyone asking the history of my hair and if it would be achievable. Got there I was assured that it may take long but the results would be what I was looking for. Needless to say NO my hair was orange my curls limp and I looked like a WET dog. Went to pay she charged me EXTRA for having black box dye in my hair 😡therefore it was 250.00 then tried to upsell me for treatments totalling 500.00 I was so upset I wanted to leave and my hair is FRIED

Today I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Cindy. The service that was provided was professional and welcoming. I was greeted on arrival with warm smiles and friendly faces. I was just so happy to be at the salon after not having any professional hair care for over a year. I did a wash with treatment and mini trim. Cindy took the time to explain step-by-step on the process that was being performed. Overall I am happy with my hair. Thank you again and hope to see you all at Urban Curls real soon.

Though this wasn't my first visit to Urban Curls, it was my first time booked in with Cindy and she did not disappoint! She did such an amazing job with this braided style! I especially love the brickwork parting - so precise and neat! This style took a while (24" inch long box braids) but the time went by so quickly with her friendly and inviting nature! She was also mindful of the more delicate sections of hair, making sure not to add too much weight or pull too tight! I'm now 4 weeks in and the style is still looking fresh. A job very well done!

My first appointment here was with Cindy. She did a fabulous job with my silk press blowout - I was so impressed with the results! She explained every step of the process, was very careful and attentive with my curly hair, and she gave me tips and advice at each step for how to better care for my hair. The environment is relaxing and the prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend Urban Curls Boutique for your curly hair needs!

Keina took the time to know my curls and gave them life!! I am so beyond happy with the service and the cut/colour! I get tones of compliments as well. This is a great place for top quality service for natural hair and naturally curly hair. It is worth every dollar spent!
