I went here in January and over all the experience was good, but also felt a bit disappointed.
I made an appointment over the phone almost about 3 weeks before I went into the salon and asked about getting my hair dyed (pink, which i had stated on the phone) and extensions put it. An appointment was made and I went in with the hair extensions i had purchased for this appointment. When I got there I was told that there was no pink hair dye available and none of the students were far enough into the program to put my extensions in. The instructor informed me that this was likely fault of whoever made my appointment since they would have known there would be no senior students to do the extensions, and they didn't order the dye i would need.
For most this wouldn't be a problem and just reschedule for another day, but I had come in from North Battleford just for this appointment. We were able to sort something out and they used a dye they don't general use, and was told I would be contacted when the students were far enough into the program so i could get my extensions in. I mentioned I wanted to have my hair extensions done by time I went for a trip to Florida in the first week of April. I was told this wouldn't be a problem.
I left feeling great, they were able to dye my hair pink and it felt healthy and gorgeous.
As time went by I waited and waited for them to contact me about the students in the program. I contacted twice to ask about this and was told they would call me as soon as they were ready and their classes for the extension program would start on February 18th. It is now March 30th, and days away from my trip, and have not heard a word from them still.
its very disappointing. I spent close to 400$ on my hair extensions for them to just be sitting in a box, after waiting over 2 months for a call to make an appointment.
This is a great place to get your hair cut and styled, and I truly did have a great experience, my hair looked amazing when they were finished, but I cant help but feel disappointed.
