A school of excellence and high standards. I took the "Global Makeup Program" which allowed me to sample many different mediums of makeup. I enjoyed each module, definitely more knowledgeable and capable in each one thanks to the Instructors that shared their skills and wanted to see their students succeed. If you're not entirely sure what field of makeup you are interested in, I suggest this program, as it will take you through a good sampling of each. I feel prepared to go into most fields of makeup and simple hairstyles. Your year will pass quickly and before you know it, you will be working in the industry and wearing makeup confidently! Almost every instructor told me "trust the process!" I am grateful to have heard it so often as often self doubt tried to creep in. I do have suggestions for Blanche, but minor and not worth mentioning in my review as they are unique to me. One great thing is that if you do have any comments and suggestions, the Program Directors are there to hear and assist you. Thank you Blanche Macdonald for a year of challenges through these different times! I say different because too often I've heard difficult times and I feel once you label it in a negative light, that's mostly what one sees. If you are hoping to get into makeup school, I do recommend Blanche Macdonald! I loved attending Blanche Macdonald Centre! The teachers and staff were always so understanding and friendly. On my days off I would look forward to going back to school. The Global Program helped me understand where I wanted to further my career in makeup and introduced me to other areas of the feild in the makeup industry. I would definitely recommend Blanche Macdonald to anyone who wants a career in makeup! Glad I studied there :) Thank you Blanche Macdonald

My experience with Blanche Macdonald is truly a great one so far and I'm not even halfway through the program. I recently moved to Canada not knowing where my career was going to, and figured maybe I should try to build a career in the make-up industry. I didn't even know about Blanche Macdonald until I googled it and it was the first thing that appeared in the search results. Not knowing that it was actually the best makeup school in Canada, I enrolled myself in and I must say it's really transforming. I was just really planning to enhance my skills for Bridal Makeup and I was so glad that I enrolled in the Global Makeup Diploma program, they cover everything from basic makeup fundamentals to the most advanced modules for TV and Film, prosthetics and special effects and many more from creating résumés to building your own portfolio! I am so excited for what the future holds for all of us students. The instructors are very hands on, they really push you to bring out your best. The school also helps us find jobs and employment opportunities because they never stop providing us opportunities to volunteer and be exposed, which eventually opens up a network of opportunities. I have never been more confident with my makeup skills until after enrolling! I must say, Blanche Macdonald really prepares you for your make-up career, they don't only teach you make-up skills but also prepare you for your professional career. I am so proud to be a BMC Student.

10 years ago I had a vision and set out for a new adventure at Blanche Macdonald, to study the Esthetics and Spa Therapy program. From the moment I walked into the school for my first day, the support and recognition from and for the school was outstanding. Not only did I make some life long friends, but I have made many connections in my professional career because of the staff and reputation of Blanche Macdonald. Fast forward to today and I am a successful Spa Owner and Operator. Without the foundation, curriculum and support I have had from this school, I doubt I would be where I am, today. I cannot speak highly enough about this program and the staff behind the center. If you are considering mastering a craft in the industry, this is where you must start.

I graduated from Blanche Macdonald Centre from their Aesthetics program. I was very fortunate and blessed to have Angie B as one of my instructors. She is by far the best instructor I have ever come across. She is beyond dedicated to each and every student. Her level of professionalism and passion is truly inspiring. I felt motivated and received endless support from Angie. She truly cares for everyone's success and is able to use her resources and countless years of experience to guide her students. I am confident that anyone who attends Blanche and is lucky to have Angie as a instructor is not only blessed but are in great hands! I am so happy and grateful to have had Angie through out my journey. Thank you Angie for all that you do each and everyday.
