I have to say that this place is what hair dreams are made of! I went to this salon after it was recommended by one of my friends and I am now a life long customer. Not only do they have a beautifully curated salon they also have amazing hair products. I had an appointment with Saina and she not only took her time to understand what I was looking for, she also recommended what would suite me. She took her time cutting my hair and styling it as well. I would highly recommend this salon!

All fluff and no substance and a VERY pricey fluff at that ! I asked for both a senior colorist and stylist to avoid any mistakes and nearly $400 later my hair color and texture (from over processing) is a disaster !!! The cut was ok ........ Never told anyone where I got my hair done or how much I paid because I wanted to get an unbiased opinion from friends and family to make sure I wasn’t the only one who thought I got a botched job. Not a single favorable comment , mostly no comment as not to make me feel bad . The saddest thing is that I reached out and sent an email to “customer service “ , not a bad or negative email , I just expressed my disappointment but they didn’t even bother to respond , totally ignored me !!!! I guess good customer service and client satisfaction is just not important to them .

If you are looking for a professional and comfortable place to have your hair done by knowledgeable staff, look no further than Medualla and Co! I've had a keratin treatment applied to my hair two different times and the results are STUN-NING! My hair goes from dull, kinky and dry, to shiny, soft and manageable every time! I wish more black women knew about this procedure because it is A MILLION times more effective and safer than a relaxer. The application lasted about 4 months for me, but it could last longer for some with slightly less course hair. It is a bit on the pricier side but I think it is worth absolutely every penny. My stylist, Jerrod is such a sweet, awesome, individual who knows what he's doing and I highly recommend his services!

I have been going to this salon to have my hair blown out regularly and cut by Sandra Bermeo for the past 2 years. She is absolutely amazing with my hair!! It's really curly and her blow drys are perfect. I also love how she cuts my hair with precise detail to suit the shape of my face. My blow out looks great, even many days later with the style of the cut. Sandra has a natural instinct with hair and really takes the time to listen and give me what I want. She has also educated me about the best products to use for my type of hair, which makes it smooth and healthy looking as well as free of any frizz. Sandra knows hair and is an expert stylist in the city. She's lovely as well and we have great chats. I recommend her highly.

It took me years to find a stylist and colourist (to be honest, I didn't even know they could be separate people before Medulla!) in Toronto—I kept having terrible experiences, and going back to my hometown for hair. For about four years I lived in Toronto without someone to go to. I originally started going to the Avenue location, and worked with Chris, who was brilliant. Then it became more convenient to go to the Queen St. location, where I work with Liz and Jacinta...and honestly, I've never come out of an appointment less than thrilled. Even when I bring totally out there ideas! Could not recommend Medulla—either location—more highly.
