Literally the only place I go to get a haircut. Steph is my favorite. Always fun to get a haircut from her. Super meticulous and she manages to make me look way more civilized after a haircut. Also, really funny when you hear her say "aye".

Great spot... It manages to stay relatively unpretentious in the most pretentious part of the city. Bright and open, with friendly staff.

Quality service, comfortable atmosphere. The barbers are excellent, charismatic, personable, and accommodating. I’ve had cuts by Mike, Sean, and Rafi and all three were very skilled at what they do. Deducted one point since the description of the “men’s cut” includes “scalp massage, hot towel, cut & style” and I’ve never received the scalp massage, hot towel portion of that.

Best place in Yorkville for a men’s cut, hands down! Dante and his team are not only great barbers but the shop has amazing service and is always a fun place to be. What’s not to like?

I have been a customer a Civello, John Allen, and others, but these last few years I have settled, happily, at Axe and Hatchet. Even when I moved out of the neighbourhood, I come back to Dante - quality, good value, and a fun atmosphere. And the guy (and his team) definitely know their stuff. For a solid men's cut and a place that will make you glad to (re)visit, you can't go wrong.
